Hello and welcome! I’m Brady Licht, a passionate digital learning specialist based in Rapid City, South Dakota. Parts of this website serve as a dynamic portfolio of my work and reflections, with a special focus on my current journey through LDTE 5870 as part of my Ed.D. in Learning, Design, and Technology at the University of Wyoming.
A Bit About Me
With a background in K-12 education and a Master’s in Technology for Education and Training, I’ve dedicated my career to creating innovative, learner-centered experiences. My expertise lies in designing and supporting e-learning ecosystems for all ages, with a focus on human-centered approaches, calm tech practices, and modular content.
Currently, I work as a Learning Specialist at Black Hills Special Services Cooperative, where I help educators and systems across the Great Plains embrace innovative tools and methods. I’m also a frequent presenter at education conferences like ISTE, sharing insights on topics such as microlearning, AI in education, and atomic design for e-learning.
When I’m not designing learning experiences or presenting, you can find me hosting my new “E-Learning Lane” podcast, where I answer common questions about digital learning.
LDTE Sections on this Site
While this category of the site will initially house my assignments and projects for ITEC 5870, it’s important to note that this is a living, breathing space. Upon the conclusion of the course, I plan to reorganize and integrate this content into the broader framework of my professional portfolio.
The assignments you’ll see here are just the beginning. They represent my current explorations and growth in the field of Learning, Design, and Technology. As I progress through the course and beyond, I’ll be refining these ideas, connecting them with my broader body of work, and reshaping them to showcase my evolving expertise.
Thank you for visiting, and I hope you find the content here both informative and inspiring!
